We have defined the guiding behaviours that underpin our values and the way we work at Australian Traffic Solutions.
A program of procedures and activities has been established, continually updated and effectively carried out to ensure we go beyond legislation and codes of practices.
Our program relates to all aspects of workplace health and safety including the development, implementation and review of:
WHS&E Induction and Training
Pre-Works Hazard Assessments for the clients’ site
Safe Work Environment Method Statements (SWEMS)
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA Cards)
WHS&E Management Plans
Australian Traffic Solutions has obtained “G Rating” for our WH&S Management System from the NSW Roads and Maritime Service (RMS). Our team are proud of achieving our RMS accreditation.
We have current AS/NZS 4801:2001 Health and Safety Certification and we assist our clients with the implementation of their WH&S Management Plans.
The environment in which we work and operate is also of utmost importance as demonstrated by strategies we employ to prevent impacts upon the environment and achieve a more sustainable environment in which we operate.
From our Company Induction through to our pre-starts, SWEMS and our work ethic in general, ATS and its workers aim to eliminate any adverse environmental impacts.
Our Environmental Management Plans are evidence that our vehicles and equipment are regularly serviced and maintained, Arrow boards and VMS boards are energy efficient solar powered and where possible we recycle any material that requires disposal. We have current ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Certification and we assist our clients with the implementation of their Environmental Management Plans.
As a service provider our onsite environmental impact is minimal, however we take our environmental responsibilities seriously.
Our Integrated Management System Manual (IMSM) describes ATS integrated Quality, Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Management Systems.
The purpose of Australian Traffic Solutions integrated Quality Manual is to ensure that our service quality continues to meet the highest standards demanded by ATS and expected by its clients.
The procedures serve the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9001 and to support our quality policy. The implementation of these procedures guarantees the quality of executed works and eliminates deficiencies in the management system.
